Parents'  Review

Quick take: Best tutor for my kids!
Ms. Sandy has a strong background in education. She has many years of experience in preschool education. My sons have been students of Ms. Sandy for a few years primarily for math. She teaches Mandarin, English and Math in her after school program. Smaller learning center with more individualized attention. Really good quality after school program.        - Nancy H.

We have known Ms. Sandy for 5 years.  My son started taking Chinese classes with her since he was 4 and my 5 year old daughter started taking classes this past year. She teaches using various methods including using different books, singing and playing games. She stresses spoken language, but is also teaching written language.  She is very patient and is able to accommodate kids of different levels.  Class size is small, so the kids get a lot of individual attention.  My kids have taken Chinese lessons from elsewhere, but they feel that they learn the most from Ms. Sandy.  I highly recommend Renata Learning Center and Ms. Sandy!      - Betty T.

Why Learn A Second Language?

“A man who knows two languages is worth two men.”
‒French Proverb

Physiological studies have found that speaking two or more languages is a great asset to the cognitive process... Students who study foreign languages tend to score better on standardized tests than their monolingual peers, particularly in the categories of math, reading, and vocabulary...
